We begin by gathering over a warm drink, creating a calm and welcoming atmosphere before gently starting with a slow, mindful yoga session followed by a guided meditation. The session is designed to suit both beginners and experienced practitioners—there is nothing to perform, only being.
After a short break, you are invited into a tactile encounter with clay. We work with a beautifully red-firing sculptural clay, and, supported by the meditation, you will create your own power animal. Using your hands as tools, you shape hand-sized pieces that will later be fired. You may choose to create something functional or let the form become purely sculptural and free. Throughout the process, guidance, inspiration, and space for personal expression are present. No prior experience is needed—only curiosity to explore, create, and listen inwardly.
We kindly ask that you notify us if you are unable to attend so that your place can be offered to someone else. Please do so at anna.pauli@trelleborg.se
Margit and Anna met in 2002 during a ceramics and glass program at Östra Grevie Folk High School. Since then, clay and each other have remained part of their lives. In their ceramic practices, they differ—Anna works on the wheel, focusing on functional objects, while Margit works sculpturally. However, their deep love for the material is shared. In recent years, Anna has also deepened her practice in yoga, exploring its beneficial effects on body and mind, as well as aspects of Ayurvedic health thinking. She will lead the yoga, while Margit will mirror her movements to make them as clear and visible in the space as possible.
