SCULPTURA – that makes your mind spin

The group exhibition spans millennia – from ancient icons like the Venus of Willendorf, through Rodin and Döderhultarn, to contemporary artists who challenge the very boundaries of sculpture. Here, sculpture becomes everyday life, ritual, movement, collapse, and memory – in constant transformation.

What we think we recognize – the ideals of antiquity, folk forms, magical masks from around the world – collides with the tensions and absurd reflections of our time.
We move from the earthly to the divine. From classical monuments to vulnerable self-portraits where play, failure, and the invisible are given form through shifting materials. Sculpture is no longer something we simply observe. It is something we encounter, question – and carry with us.

This is where movement begins. In collaboration with MARC, Milvus Artistic Research Center, the artist residency program invites performances and expressions that connect artists from Skåne and around the world.
