In the exhibition "Stadslifv", we focus on the development of modern Trelleborg from 1850 to 1950. It covers a hundred years during which the city transformed from a rural community to a growing industrial city.

We explore the harbor, factories, and the emerging popular movements of the time. We also take a closer look at historical events that left their mark on the city, such as the "permittenttrafik" (military personnel transportation) and the "baltutlämning" (Baltic deportations).
